Fabric Fun with Tonic Living
I had some fun with fabric this weekend thanks to Tonic Living. They were one of the sponsors of BlogPodium two weeks ago and gave us all a challenge…take two peices of fabric and get creative. I think it’s fair to say that was almost two challenges! Picking just two of their fabulous fabrics was hard.
I’ve been on the hunt for new fabric(s) for our dining room chairs (they may even get a re-paint too! not sure yet…) and my two choices would work perfectly! How pretty does this look?
Sadly, I needed about an inch more width to do the job well. I got over it quickly laughing my head off doing this to my dogs.
They. Were. Not. Impressed.
If ever two such adorable dogs could ooze contempt, it was these two at that moment…they even refused to look at the camera.
Finally, the fabrics found their home behind two old windows we have hanging in our upstairs hallway. I like how it adds a bit of colour. I simply used my trusty staple gun and pulled the fabric tight behind the glass and tacked down each corner.
Thanks to Tonic Living for the great project, I had fun and loved checking out all the other projects following #TonicFabricFun on Instagram.
your dining room chairs are awesome! love them so much!
Thanks so much Julie! I found them on a neighbour's lawn a few years ago and they were hideous...70s wood finish w horrific blue velvet fabric seats...I painted them all and got a fun fabric from IKEA to cover them:) Although that Tonic Living fabric is soooo fab! I think I might need to update them:)
