Antiquing Fun & a Fabulous Find
I have been on the hunt for a vintage apple picking ladder (at a reasonable price) for a few years now. And last Sunday, it was found:) A delightful, but cold, Sunday morning was spent at the Aberfoyle Antique Market with some of my favourite ladies. Amazing to think we met just a year ago!
How pleased am I driving home with this fab find!?
The ladder now sits proudly against the wall in the living room holding the fur throws. I love the height of it and the wood looks lovely against the pink walls. What do you think?
side note: how cute is my sweet Hermann?
Oh, and see that wing chair there? Well, they are headed for a major update. I’ll be working on this project with the help of Tonic Living and J&J Made for a post over on Style at Home. (Click to read my previous Style at Home blog posts)
The chairs have a long history in my family – can’t wait to share the evolution!
Heather! This is fabulous :) We recently scored a blanket ladder for our living room too and I adore it. I am a blanket addict and it helps me keep them in order when I'm not snuggled on the couch. Also, Hermann is too cute!
thanks Erin! and boy does he know it (Hermann, that is:)!) totally with you, such a great way to keep everything organized and looking lovely:)
I love the ladder. What a great find! I am so jealous of all the flea market finds you have! There isn't a ton of history here, most things are dated old, and not cool old.
thanks B:) I'm so in love with it!
Oooooh great find! I love the look of those ladders too! Can't wait to see your chair transformation as well!
Thanks! We picked out the fabric for the chairs this past week - SO EXCITED!!
