DIY Christmas…part 1

I’ve mentioned before that a little inspiration and a sunshine-y day (perfect for working outside) are all I need to get a fun DIY project done. This weekend that inspiration came in the form of an old window, some spray paint, and gingerbread latte.

Remember the window I mentioned in my Para Paints #ParaBlogCrew application? Well, it and some old nutcrackers I got at a garage sale a few years ago got a new life. Just in time for Christmas.

I’ll share how they turned out and what I did with them later this week:)

And finally…this weekend was all about the leopard – my new favourite Jessica Simpson flats and my super cute Costco boots my mom grabbed for me a few years ago.

Ooo! I'm stoked to see what you did with those nutcrackers. They're my favourite holiday time decoration. Also, those Jessica Simpson flats are ADORABLE,

thanks Kay! I am super pleased with how the nutcrackers turned out - I'm with you, one of my faves - I felt badly not bringing them out last year b/c they were so dinged up...now that they have new life they can fulfill their Christmas destiny:) (and the shoes are SO comfy!)

    Those flats are gorgeous!

And my daughter has been talking about getting some nutcrackers this year. Of course, they're going to meet my good friends, Primer and Spray Paint. They're practically my best friends this Xmas season!

Can't wait to see the projects!

I'm so curious as well to see what you did with them... I have a few nutcrakers that are in bad shape as my girls have been using them as toys. Perhaps a can of spray paint would give them new life?? Can't wait to see!!!
