Last week I attended the North American launch event for Rowenta floor care. And I take floor care very seriously. With a 120 year old house, and original hard wood….and two giant dogs, floor maintenance is daily! So needless to say, I was looking forward to seeing what this French company had to offer.

I was not disappointed. I was greeted with wonderful music, local Ontario beer & wine, and lovely appetizers – and a great team from BOOM! who along with the team from Siren Group, held a really (and I mean really!) informative event. They even had little bags of oatmeal and coffee for us to make a mess with… just to vacuum it up!

15 years of research into acoustics, 650 hours of product testing for each product!, and all are designed and made in France.

I was also incredibly lucky to WIN!!! a Rowenta Silence Force™ Extreme Multi-Cyclonic and I can totally vouch for the silence factor. I used it for the first time on Saturday, and happened to have the laundry going at the same time…I quite literally had to lean down to see if it in fact was ON because I could hear nothing!

It took care of our hardwood and the carpet beautifully. It was light, easy to use, and was out of the box and set up in minutes.
