Lily and the Octopus Book Review

Truly one of the loveliest stories I’ve ever read. It’s a love story, but so much more. I laughed out loud more times than I can count. And not just chuckles, full on belly laugh laughing…as in, I to put my wine down laughing. I also cried. A lot. Tears streamed down my face, but I smiled and kept turning the pages. It was beautiful right from start to finish. The words, the story, the love, and of course Lily. The perfect heroine for our friend Ted.

If you’ve ever loved a dog, love a dog right now, or want to someday love a dog you will love this book. This is a beautifully told tale of love and friendship, and all it means to love unconditionally. If I told you more you’d hate me. Just read it. You won’t regret it.

Truly a wonderful read.

Disclosure: Being a Simon & Schuster Advance Reader means I receive uncorrected advance reader proof copies of books every so often. And every so often I really enjoy one of those books, so I decide to write a review post. I’m not asked to do so, and I don’t get paid. I do it because we should all read more:)…and it’s my website and I can do what I want:)
