Three crush-worthy kitchen gadgets
Every time I purge the kitchen of useless gadgets that ‘just had to come home with me’, I promise myself I won’t buy another ‘handy dandy’ whatever. But yet, I do.
Again and again.
Why? Because in the realm of kitchen-gadgetry you just never know when you might strike gold and find a new best friend. The gadget you didn’t know you couldn’t live without until you had it.
All of the gadgets I’m sharing below are recent additions to my kitchen (past six months or so) and are used at least weekly, which makes me wonder…are they the next perfect gadget for you too? If only you knew about them? Well that’s why I am here folks, to share:)
This is one of those things you don’t ever really think about needing. I never in my life cut and sliced an avocado and thought, ‘this could be easier’. Never. I mean, how much easier can it get?
And yet…when I saw this I thought to myself, “this is genius”. So I bought it. And it IS genius.
Seriously. Why genius? Let me show you.
My milk frother aka. Nespresso Aeroccino
This bad boy is my new best friend. I went from adding 5% coffee cream to my coffee each morning to using this and skim milk #MoreCaloriesForWine. AND it can be used to froth milk for cold desserts too. I haven’t even used that function yet, but I can’t wait to try it. I use it every single morning and it turns regular old coffee into a tasty latte. Super easy to clean too – just a quick rinse and it’s done.
If you like eggs, especially poached eggs but hate the hassle when all you want is one or two lonely little eggies… this is the tool for you. I use this at least once a week. It’s brilliant for quickly cooking up a couple of eggs to add to a lunch time salad or toss with some avocado (nicely sliced of course!) and leftover roasted potatoes for a simple meal. Way less muss and fuss than pulling out pots, pans, boiling water, attempting to poach the egg perfectly, cleaning up the mess….WAY less. #PutAnEggOnIt
I picked up each of these little delights at my fave local cookery shop, but have linked to Amazon below.
