Project Guest Room #TheSequel REVEAL @Alexanians_Com

The guest room is finally done!  Need to review the previous posts to see where we started? click HERE and HERE .

I never really thought of myself as a squealer.  You know, one of those girls who makes annoying noises like some tortured chipmunk?  Not me.

Until this week.  I squeal every time I walk past the guest room.

Every single time.

Yes, the paint looks fabulous.  Yes, I am SO totally loving the new furniture arrangement.  Yes, the new life I gave the old ottoman is fantastical.  And yes, I am in love with the pretty gold mirror I snagged at a local consignment shop.  But what really just brings the entire room together and is the cherry on top of an already awesome Sundae is the fancy new carpet from Alexanian’s.

It’s is simply divine.

The carpet journey started out as hours of online shopping and narrowing my selection to six (see them here). Then, my local Alexanian’s store in Guelph kindly brought in my top four.

I was able to bring them home (how awesome is that?!) so I could see them in the space and figure out which worked best.

And not sure if you can tell from the video, but I was pretty sold on the blue Enigma the moment it was unrolled.  Watch the video again and hear me say, “wow” about 21 seconds in.  That wow stayed and despite rolling and unrolling each carpet about a hundred times, the blue Enigma was always the winner.

(I also, ‘wowed’ for the red Enigma.  How pretty did it look with the red dresser? But the yellow in rug and green in the room weren’t ideal together – too bad, it’s a lovely lovely rug!)

And how lovely does it look?  SO AWESOME.  I would LOVE to know what you think of the completed room, so be sure to comment here or over on Facebook after you’ve scrolled through all the photos and the VIDEO of the finished room at the bottom of the post:)

Guest Room makeover Alexanian's area rug

The carpet us just so pretty and changes depending on sunlight and the angle you’re looking at it.  Which I love!

Sponsored Post Disclosure:  As I mentioned in the first post, I’m so excited to be working with Alexanian’s on this project. They were amazing in helping me find the perfect area rug for this room.  High FIVE! Alexanian’s  provided me with the area rug in exchange for me telling y’all all about my experience.  I am not being paid and as usual I only share my honest to goodness opinion because I’m nice like that:)

Such a pretty choice! I'm on the hunt for the perfect new rug for our living room, so I know time consuming and daunting it can be. Yours looks perfect for the space.
