Gorgeous green chairs with @ParaPaints
I might have a problem. I re-painted our dining room chairs….literally one year to the day after the last time.
*she smiles a big toothy grin*
That problem? I’m totally okay with it. Because the chairs look fabulous….again! I loved their first incarnation, I loved their second, and this third is perfection.
The fabulous fret fabric from Tonic Living really POPS against the deep green. Don’t you just love that green?! It’s so rich. If Prince William and I had met years ago and I had become an actual princess, this is the colour our Land Rover would have been.
……but I digress….so back to reality, and those chairs!
I love them. And the best part is how amazing they look against the newly painted kitchen (stay tuned for that reveal!)…..and yes, I re-painted my kitchen AGAIN. Don’t judge me. Obviously you can see some of the colour here, but just wait ’till you see the whole thing!
And isn’t the green ribbon on the curtains just the prettiest? It’s been there since I made the curtains eons ago, and worked brilliantly with the first chair incarnation, not so much with the second. But this, this is a match made in heaven.
The project was a relatively simple one. The basic steps and supplies are listed below.
Here’s how I did it:
- remove seats
- sand down chairs
- clean/remove dust etc
- paint & let dry, repeat x 3
- re-attach seats
- admire work
Here’s what I used:
- Para Paints 4305 Ultra Furniture & Cabinet Paint in Rock Climbing P5109-85
- fine grit sand paper
- paint brush
- drop cloth
- my perfectly manicured hands
Disclosure: As you know I am SO FREAKIN’ PLEASED to have been chosen as one of this year’s Para Paints #ParaBlogCrew members. Para provides me with all the paint a girl can use. Isn’t that awesome! (and addiction feeding? ha!).
